Situated below the 199 steps that lead to the impressive Whitby Abbey ruins that keeps a watchful eye on the town, it is the oldest street in Whitby that was originally called Kirkgate. Many love to wander the cobbles admiring the cottages and small houses that were originally built in the 15th Century. We love opening our doors everyday to the heart of Whitby’s old town.
