Visit their historic store at 112 Church Street and follow the scent of home baking into their charming first floor Tea Rooms.

Since opening in 2010, the W Hamond Tea Rooms has been welcoming visitors from all across the world with a tempting array of delicious meals and traditional home baking. The elegant first floor café has even caught the eye of several Hollywood superstars who have had the chance to try their tasty selections of cakes, sandwiches and lunches.

W Hamond Tea Rooms catering for tastes of all kind, whether you fancy breakfast, afternoon tea or just a refreshing cold drink after a long day of exploring the historical seaside town. From cheese boards, sandwiches, cream teas to sponge cakes, all food is freshly prepared and cooked to order and they always aim to use and support local produce whenever possible. They will always try their best to accommodate any special dietary requirements.

Popular with locals and visitors alike, W Hamond Tea Rooms are also home to a diary full of exclusive events. From ghostly walks, afternoon entertainment, appearances from local celebrity Harry Collett and history talks about the town’s iconic Whitby Jet gemstone, there is so much to do and see in their boutiques' Tea Room as well as taste our delicious menu.
