The sculptural forms make a strong impact on a dining table or window sill and the shiny polished surface reflects the light, giving a real sense of movement to the pieces.
Danish-born Helle Damkjær approaches her designs with in a very particular manner, creating each piece meticulously in clay to ensure the exact shape she wants, before transferring it to the real material. This allows her work to have a distinctive warmth and softness in form which goes some way to explain the universal success of her Bloom collection for Georg Jensen. This pair of candleholders is expertly crafted from stainless steel before being given a mirror polished finish.
